The Lord’s people need a sexual awakening to fully understand Godly sexuality, that is human sexuality that invites God in. It is truly beautiful, natural, and God-ordained.

About Donna Mack
Donna Mack is the author of Our Godly Sexual Beings: The Fellowship of the Mystery.
Donna’s convictions regarding God’s enigmatic presence transpired through many years of passionate study and research, personal experiences, and life’s progression. She feels that going through the chronological order of her life, it appears God’s guidance has forever been directing her to this result of developing her book, “Our Godly Sexual Beings.”
Donna grew up in the Deep South in a small town in Alabama, where in her younger years, life revolved around church, where she became spiritually blessed. Notably, she remembers within the church, a large banner hung over the pulpit that proclaimed, “For I Am Not Ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.” (Rom 1:16) As a child, she found this assertion very confusing and out of place. After all, the church and its affiliations were pure and honorable. So, where or how does being ashamed fit into the beauty of Christianity? Those words genuinely sparked a search in her young heart that lingered for years as she tried to understand the mystery of its meaning.
As a young adult, Donna delved into a study of the history of Christianity, as well as other world religions and New Age beliefs. She was full of questions about certain aspects of God that the surface of religion did not seem to answer – most especially the connection between God and our sexuality. She did not understand – for the most part, if God made our sexuality, then why, within God’s world, is sexuality so demeaned and disrespected? How had the evil lust of this world, for the most part, succeed in obtaining the wonderous glory of human sexuality away from God’s authority? As the years passed, this lingering question steadily came to her attention.
Her quest to understand why led her to meet with preachers, priests, Christian counselors, and religious scholars in hopes that they might point her to the answers she sought. Every one of these spiritual experts reacted negatively toward what they perceived as an offensive subject, insinuating that questions regarding sex and God were an abomination.
As time went on, Donna realized she would have to continue her academic study and research independently. Still, after studying religion, Eastern philosophy, sociology, yoga, and other world beliefs, she realized nothing compared to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Prayerfully, she began years of research into ancient Christianity, with a variety of topics surrounding how it all evolved. Looking back now, Donna looks upon this time as the highlight of her life – truly establishing and grounding her strong beliefs.
God’s Love is humans’ greatest miracle of life that longs to help people. Donna believes (along with many believers before her) she was helped to uncover one of the greatest love stories ever told, God’s Love affair with humanity. The fascinating revelations she experienced during her in-depth study revealed repeatedly how sacred human sexuality exists for God and how the Bible sings with this truth. One of the greatest Love stories ever told!
Donna never really thought about writing a book about her intimate feelings; yet, over the years, this possibility kept coming into her thoughts. After continually praying, the Holy Spirit empowered her toward enlightenment and the desire to move forward. Respectfully, Donna credits this spiritual inspiration guided her through many years to intertwine references, substantial documentation, and other information into heartfelt explanations within her book, believed to be led by the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, (John 15:26).
Everything that Donna professes in this book is backed up with substantial references, documentation, and other information with a scholarly approach. Her research centers around biblical and scholarly references, an extensive endnotes section, a bibliography and hundreds of Biblical scriptures throughout the book. Donna’s 30-year quest to help reveal God’s Treasured Truth has been the journey of a lifetime. And she admits, “I wouldn’t have miss this trip for the world!”
